Something that's been one of the most interesting reads for me lately has been Dave Burke's set of posts detailing his war stories about migrating an ASP.NET 1.1 project to ASP.NET 2.0. Good stuff. ScottGu even got involved and had Dave send him a sample project so he could offer advice and help determine what was causing the train to stall when leaving the migration station.

So let's see. Where to start?

And continue on with

And then ScottGu's response

Wow, what a link post this one turned out to be ;-) Thanks for sharing Dave.

Thanks so much for posting this, Ryan! Mind if I copy-n-paste it into a recap of my ASP.NET migration posts? :-) Kidding. That ScottGu is everywhere these days. Amazing what he's doing seemingly single-handedly for the developer community. I learned a lot in passing along his wisdom.

Yeah, maybe at some point I'll get the hang of this ASP.NET 2.0 stuff after all. Thanks again for this great link post.

I'll have to say that this links post is about the prettiest I've ever seen. You do have a great eye, but then I've said that before.
